臭木(クサギ) harlequin glory bower

　クサギは廃道などの裸地へ、いち早く定着する先駆植物の一つです。植物は一代では動きませんが、世代を跨ぐと動くと言えます。
　ところで、葯の色が紫色をしているのに、初めて気が付きました。

　"Harlequin glory bower" is one of the pioneer plants that are among the first to become established on bare ground, such as that found on abandoned roads. Plants do not move within a single generation, but it can be said that they do move across generations.
　By the way, I just noticed for the first time that the anthers are purple.
