崖の上の椿 camellia on the cliff
葉が黄変しています。
数メートル先の擁壁工事で使われたセメントに含まれるアルカリ性が影響したのでしょう。
背景となった樹木は、象の肌のようにも見えるイヌシデの幹です。
The leaves of the camellia are turning yellow.
It is alkaline influence included in cement used by retaining wall construction carried out in several meters ahead.
The tree of the background is a trunk of the Carpinus tschonoskii which looks like the skin of the elephant.

オオハナワラビ botrychium
ひと気のない寂しい所に、ユーモラスな格好をした植物を見つけました。高さが30cmくらいなので、オオハナワラビだと思います。

モグラ塚 molehill
最近、我が家の近くに、モグラ塚がたくさんできています。多分、アズマモグラが作ったものでしょう。表面の土を取り除いてみると、奥に続く穴が一つだけあります。モグラ塚は、トンネルの途中に作られるのではなく、不要な土を外に出す専用の廃棄用出口だということが分かりました。
Recently, a lot of molehills appeared near my house. Probably a lesser Japanese mole made these. There was only one hole leading to the back when I removed surface soil. I realized that the molehill is not made in the middle of a tunnel and it was dedicated outlet for discarding unnecessary soil.

なぜ動くの why does it move
ファインダーを覗いていると、小枝のような部分がゆっくり動いているのに気が付きました。ワームのような動物のようにも見えるし、あるいは寄生植物なのかとも思いますが、何だか分かりません。
