狐薊(キツネアザミ) hemisteptia lyrata

　この植物は、そろそろ種を風にのせ飛ばそうとしてます。
　昔話になりますが、猟師に追われた狐が、アザミに化けたけれど、あわててトゲを付け忘れました。それで、棘のないアザミは、狐アザミと呼ばれるようになりました。
　狐は人をだます能力があるという言い伝えがあります。同様に、タヌキも人をだます能力を持っています。
　忘れてはいけないのは、人も、狐や狸に負けることなく、人を欺く能力に長けています。

　This plant is about to disperse its seeds by wind.
　Once apon a time, A fox chased by a hunter transformed into a Thistle, but in its haste, forgot to add thorns, hence the thorns less Thistle was named "Kitune-Azami" which means "Fox-Thistle" in Japanese.
