アメリカ朝顔(アメリカアサガオ) ivyleaf morning glory

アメリカアサガオの花は、直径約3cm位と小さく、薄い水色の花が代表的な色です。繁殖力が強く、日本各地で野生化しています。環境省では、「生態系被害防止外来種」としてリストアップしています。
　江戸時代末期（1882年頃）に日本で観賞用に栽培されていた記録がありますが、現在定着している系統は、戦後（1950年頃～）に輸入穀物に混入して渡来したものと考えられています。 時代の移り変わりと共に、待遇が変わりました。

　The Ivyleaf morning glory's flowers are small, measuring approximately 3 cm across, and usually have a light blue hue. It has high reproductive capacity and has now naturalized across Japan. The Ministry of the Environment has listed it as an "Invasive Alien Species (IAS)." Records show that it was grown in Japan for decorative purposes in the late Edo period (around 1882), but it is thought that the current family line in Japan was introduced after World War II (around 1950) as contaminants in imported grain. As times have changed, the reception has changed as well.
