ヒメオウギは、生命力が強く、こぼれ種でどんどん増えるそうですが、ここではひっそりと2輪の花が咲いていました。花びらは6枚ありますが、下側の3枚の付け根には、濃い赤の斑紋が入っていました。一見すると、上側の3枚の陰のように見えます。
False Freesia is said to be a strong vitality plant that spreads rapidly by self-seeding, but here, just two flowers were blooming quietly. The flower has six petals, and the bases of the lower three had dark red markings. At first glance, it appears to be the shadows of the three petals above.
