金糸梅(キンシバイ) hypericum

　写真のキンシバイの花は、大きく開いているので、雄しべと雌しべを、よく観察することができます。めしべの先端（柱頭）は5つに分かれた突起になっており、花粉を捕まえようとする触手のようにも見えます。めしべの根元にある子房も、同じく内部で5つに分かれています。突起と子房のそれぞれは１対１で繋がっています。この構造は、5列の並行処理で、たくさんの種子を残そうとする設計です。

　The photo shows fully bloomed Hypericum flowers, making it easy to see the stamens and pistils. Five projections are found at the tip of the pistil (stigma), resembling five tentacles spread out to capture pollen. The ovary at the base of the pistil is also divided into five sections internally. Each projections and internal ovary's chambers are connected on a one-to-one basis. This structure is designed to grow a large number of seeds through parallel processing of 5 columns .
