紫君子蘭(ムラサキクンシラン) African lily

　涼しげに咲いているアガパンサスの花です。
　アガパンサスはギリシャ語のアガペ（愛）とアンサス（花）の２語を組み合わせた語であり、直訳すると愛の花という意味になります。
　アガパンサスは、学名上の属を表す名前なので、多くの品種を含みます。日本で親しまれているムラサキクンシランは、アガパンサス・アフリカヌスになります。
