ハイビスカス hibiscus

　南国のムードたっぷりのハイビスカスは、亜熱帯気候の沖縄でもほぼ一年中咲いています。沖縄の方言では、この花をアカバナーと呼びます。

　Hibiscus flowers, which send out a tropical atmosphere, bloom almost year-round in Okinawa's sub-tropical climate. The Okinawan dialect calls it "Aka Banner".
　Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture of Japan,  used to be an independent country called the Ryukyu Kingdom, so it has a unique culture, history, and food distinct from mainland Japan.
