朝顔(アサガオ) Japanese morning glory

　見た目深みのある青紫色のアサガオを写したのですが、赤紫の色で写っていました。私のデジタルカメラは、青紫の再現が苦手で、実際より赤みが強く記録されます。
　それはさておき、アサガオの花の色は、時間とともに変化します。朝に青紫色で咲いていても、夕方に近づくと赤紫色に変化していきます。これは細胞内のpH（水素イオン濃度）が変化することによるものです。
　機会があれば、タイムラプス撮影をして、花の色の変化を確認してみたいと思います。

　My photo of morning glories ended up being a reddish-purple color instead of the what I saw deep blue-violet. My digital camera has a weak reproducing blue-violet tones, so they come out with a stronger reddish tint than they actually are.
　That a side, the morning glory flower's color varies with time. Even if they bloom in a blue-violet hue in the morning, they gradually change to a reddish-purple color as evening approaches. This is caused by a change in the intracellular pH (hydrogen ion concentration).
　If I get the chance, I’d like to try time-lapse photography to see how the colors of the flowers changing.
