百合(ユリ) lily

　花糸の先に付いている葯（ヤク）には、たっぷり花粉が溜まっているようです。葯はまだ花粉を出す前なので、花糸と葯は平行に寄り添ったI字型になっています。葯は花粉を出す準備ができると、回転して花糸に対してT字型をとります。ちなみに、雄しべとは、葯と花糸の２つの部分から成り立っています。

　花粉がめしべについて受粉が行われると、花の劣化は急速に進み、花の持ちが著しく悪くなります。それは、種を作ることにエネルギーを集中するからです。花を長くもたせたい場合は、葯が回転する前に、取ってしまうことです。引っ張れば簡単に取れます。

　The anthers at the tip of the filaments appear to be full of pollen. Currently, the anthers haven't released pollen, keeping the filaments and anthers parallel to each other in an I-shape. When the anther is ready to release pollen, it rotates to form a T-shape (versatile anther) relative to the filament. Incidentally, a stamen is composed of two sections: the anther and the filament.

　Once pollen lands on the pistil and pollination occurs, the flower deteriorates rapidly, and its lifespan is significantly reduced. That's due to their concentration on seed production. If you want the flowers to last longer, remove the anthers before they rotate. They come off easily by pulling them.
